Christmas light installation for Stockbridge homes
You pick the look. We bring the lights, hang them safely and take care of everything after.
What goes on a house
Most customers start with the roofline, because it frames the whole house from the street. From there it is up to you.
- Rooflines, gables, dormers and eaves
- Wrapped trunks and outlined shrubs
- Wreaths on windows, doors and garage fronts
- Pathway, porch and column lighting
- Timers so everything runs on its own

Height and pitch both matter
A tall house with a gentle roof is one kind of job. A shorter house with a steep, cut-up roof is another. We look at both before we price, because it changes the equipment, the time and the safety plan.
Taller homes
Two-story and split-level houses need longer reach and more careful setup. We are fully insured and bonded for the work.
Steep or complex roofs
More peaks, valleys and dormers mean more cutting-in and more cord management. Those rooflines sit toward the higher end of the per-foot range.

Gentle on your house
Everything attaches with clips made for shingles, gutters and fascia. Nothing gets nailed or stapled into your roof or trim, so when the lights come down, your house looks the way it did before.
The lights are ours and come back to our storage each January, so you never end up with boxes of tangled strands in the garage. $8 to $15 per linear foot covers it all. Pricing details
Home lighting questions
Can you light a two-story house?
Yes. Two-story homes are a big part of our work. We use the right equipment for the height, and we always look at the roof pitch as well, because a steep roof is harder to work on than a tall, gentle one.
Will the lights damage my shingles or gutters?
No. We attach the lights with clips made for shingles, gutters and fascia, so there are no nails through your roof and nothing that leaves a mark when the lights come down.
Can you wrap trees and shrubs?
Yes. We wrap trunks and larger limbs, outline shrubs and add wreaths. Trees are priced by size, so send a photo if you want a firm number.
What colors can I choose?
Warm white is what most Stockbridge homeowners pick, but we also do cool white, red, green, blue and mixed colors. Tell us the look you want and we will match it to your house.
Do you do timers or remote control?
We can set your lights on a timer so they come on at dusk and shut off at the hour you choose. Ask us about it when you request your quote.
How long does installation take?
A typical home is done in a single visit. Larger houses and jobs with lots of trees or ground lighting can take longer, and we will tell you before we start.
Do I have to be home?
Not usually. We just need access to the outside of the house and the outlet you want the lights plugged into. We will message you when we arrive and when we are done.
Can I add more lights in a later year?
Yes. We keep your layout on file, so a new section, another tree or a wreath can be added whenever you like.
Do you offer yearly service for returning customers?
Yes. Plenty of our customers keep the same design from year to year. We hang it, maintain it, take it down and store it, and you do not have to think about it.
How much does it cost to put Christmas lights on a two-story house?
Two-story houses usually sit in the middle to upper part of our $8 to $15 per foot range, since the height requires bigger equipment and more setup time. A steep roof pushes the rate higher still.
Do you hang lights on brick, vinyl siding or stucco homes?
Yes. We attach lights to the roof edge, gutters and fascia with clips, so the wall material is not a problem. Tell us if your house has anything unusual about its trim.
Can you put Christmas lights on a gutter?
Yes. Gutter clips are one of the most common ways we attach roofline lights. We check that the gutter is sound before we hang anything on it.
Can you wrap small trees as well as large ones?
Yes. We wrap small ornamental trees, tall evergreens and everything in between. Pricing depends on the size, so send a photo for a number.
Do you hang icicle lights or window frame lights?
Ask us about the look you want when you request your quote. We will tell you what works on your house and price it with the rest of the job.
What if I do not have an outdoor outlet?
Let us know when you request a quote. We will look at your options and plan the cord runs before installation day.
Can you match my neighbor's style or make mine stand out?
Either. Some customers want a classic warm white look that blends in. Others want a bolder display. Tell us what you picture.
How long do the lights stay up?
Through the holidays. We take them down in early January unless you ask for a different date.
Who pays for replacement bulbs or broken strands?
We do. Because the lights belong to us and in-season fixes are part of your package, you are not billed for repairs.
